In your 'Scene Trivia' section blurb 'Size Doesn't Matter', unfortunatly city population does not drive the NFL and MLB - Media Market and Statistical Area population do. S.A. ranks #37 and #29 (respectively) there and nearly all of the cities you mention rank higher. Also, these leugues are more concerned with corporate $ than individual $, where S.A. ranks low on both (but getting better!).

Greg,
You're right. NFL and MLB franchises are all about media market and corporate support. Still, it's interesting that even as San Antonio's population grows, it continues to be overlooked by both leagues. Perhaps if there weren't already two NFL and two MLB teams in the state we might get more respect.
